History
2000s

Continued investment in high-tech equipment and services opened a new arena of potential projects and customers in the 2000s. In 2005, Wooten Metal moved into a 60,000-square-foot building and purchased a five-axis tube laser, one of only 12 available in North America at the time. The equipment acquired during the 2000s opened up opportunities to produce creative, architectural and sculptural projects, while providing precision manufacturing and fabrication capabilities. The company invested in industry leaders that fit the Wooten model of service, quality and forward thinking, including Mazak, Trumpf, Romer and Davi.
